Terms of Service

Last updated 1 July 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of the Signet website and e-signing service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.

The Service

Signet lets you create, send, sign and seal electronic agreements, with an audit trail and certificate of completion. During the private beta, features may change and availability is provided on an "as is" basis.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use the Service unlawfully or to send fraudulent, infringing or malicious content.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
  • You're responsible for having the right to send the documents and to contact the signers you add.

Your content

You retain all rights to the documents and data you upload. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process them to provide the Service. We don't sell your content or use your documents to train AI models.

Electronic signatures

The Service is designed to support legally valid electronic signatures under frameworks such as eIDAS, ESIGN and UETA. You are responsible for determining that electronic signing is appropriate and lawful for your particular agreement and jurisdiction.

Fees

Paid plans are billed per seat as described on our pricing page. During early access, use may be provided free of charge; we'll give notice before charging.

Availability and disclaimers

We work hard to keep the Service available and secure, but it's provided without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the Service.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
